Banff Angels

I imagined us in the senior’s home together. Getting in trouble, telling stories and chasing hot nurses. My heart aches and I really miss you. I know we all have an end, but yours came too soon.

We started as roommates on 4A Rabbit Street. That was the beginning of our extraordinary friendship. It seems like yesterday we were day drinking on the front lawn. I owe you a chair, fair and square, I ran it over with my truck while we were lawn drinking and everyone thought it was funny.

Do you remember when Deiter and Lane stole that bench? It was soooo heavy they couldn’t carry it so they dragged it home… The police followed the marks down the road all the way to the house. When police met you at the door, they picked up the bench and carried it back to the respectful owner. The police had no care to pursue the case any further and you could have stopped there… But I’m glad you didn’t.

You told those two they should hide cause the RCMP was looking for them. You casually put in your earbuds and walked downtown and skipped from pub to pub all day, knowing they were in the clear. They hid under their mattresses all day. I know this cause that’s where I found them when I got home later that afternoon. I can still remember how mad they were when they found out they pretended to be fugitives all day. Karmic justice served. I have a story for almost every day we lived together.

We ride tonight!
